Lead Heavy Civil Foreperson Kichton

Become a pivotal leader at Kichton Construction LP in Fort McMurray, Alberta as a Foreperson. You will oversee heavy equipment crews in reclamation work, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Kichton Construction LP is looking for an experienced Foreperson with a hands-on approach to training and leading crews in the oil sands. This project-based position, reporting to the General Foreman, emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Candidates must have significant experience in mining and heavy civil construction, especially in Fort McMurray.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor heavy equipment crews on-site

• Maintain communication with Supervisors regarding project status

• Facilitate daily toolbox talks for safety awareness

• Order and ensure availability of necessary materials

• Complete required documentation and reports diligently

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in a construction supervisory role

• Experience in mining/oilsands required

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Willing to pass pre-employment drug tests
