Construction Labourer

Position: Construction Labourer at Volker Stevin
Contribute significantly to construction projects as a Labourer at Volker Stevin. This hands-on role involves moving materials, equipment operations, and maintaining a safe worksite.

As a vital member of the team, you'll report to the Superintendent while ensuring safety protocols are adhered to. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading construction materials, operating various equipment, and maintaining cleanliness at the worksite. Safety and teamwork are at the forefront of this position, allowing you to grow within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload construction materials efficiently

• Operate pneumatic hammers and other tools as required

• Remove rocks and debris safely from the site

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and safety checks

• Help organize the worksite to eliminate clutter

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

• Relevant construction or labor experience is an asset

• Class 5 Driver’s License is preferred

• Physically fit to lift and carry 40 lbs regularly

• Willingness for drug testing before employment
