Safety Advisor Position

Position: OCL Group Safety Advisor Position
Join OCL Group Inc. as a Safety Advisor to improve site safety on a rotational fly in / fly out basis. This role emphasizes communication and proactive safety assessments.

You will leverage over five years of safety experience and your National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification to enhance safety practices in the field. Your responsibilities will include conducting site hazard assessments, developing mitigation plans, and facilitating safety meetings. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to cultivate a safety-first culture across various work groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed site hazard assessments and mitigation strategies

• Lead job safety analysis collaboratively with crews

• Conduct and document safety inspections on-site

• Update and communicate the safety management plan to personnel

• Document and analyze incident investigations thoroughly

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of safety experience in the field

• Certification as a National Construction Safety Officer

• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office

• Capability to pass pre-employment drug testing

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
