Become an HSE Safety Advisor at McKay Métis, where your expertise will guide operations in maintaining a safe work environment. Help build a robust safety culture across all sites.
In this position reporting to the Senior Manager of HSE, you will support operational teams, conduct safety training, and oversee incident investigations. Your hands-on approach will help identify potential hazards while you maintain compliance with occupational health and safety legislation. You will also contribute to emergency response planning and uphold site documentation integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate incidents and hazards on-site
• Document and maintain HSE records
• Lead HSE-related training initiatives
• Facilitate emergency response planning
• Promote a culture of safety across operations
Requirements:
• NCSO required, with CRSP as an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction
• Advanced communication and training skills
• Valid Class 5 license with clean record
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Office tools
