Heavy Equipment Foreperson

Take on a leadership role as a Heavy Equipment Foreperson with Kichton Construction LP in Fort McMurray. Lead reclamation crews while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site.

Kichton Construction LP is seeking an experienced Foreperson to oversee our heavy equipment crews. This project-based role demands expertise in mining, industrial, and heavy civil construction, particularly in the Fort McMurray oilsands. Your leadership will coach and mentor team members in best practices while maintaining a focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and mentor crews in safe work practices

• Facilitate communication with Supervisors and Project Managers

• Ensure necessary materials are ordered and ready

• Conduct morning toolbox talks and site meetings

• Complete daily documentation on tools and equipment

Requirements:

• 5+ years in construction supervisory roles

• Prior mining/oilsands experience

• Strong communication skills in English

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
