Position: Senior Teacher for Inclusive Living Program
Become a pivotal part of Fort McMurray Catholic Schools as a Senior Inclusive Living Program Teacher for grades 7-12.

Your role will support students with complex needs through tailored educational strategies.

This full-time position is designed for those with specialized skills in managing diverse learning environments. Candidates will implement individualized instructional methods focusing on literacy, numeracy, and practical life skills development. Strong collaboration with staff and families is essential to enhance communication and behavioral support for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized lesson plans

• Provide literacy and numeracy interventions for students

• Facilitate life skills training and community engagement

• Utilize technology for communication and learning

• Coordinate with educational assistants and external professionals

Requirements:

• Expertise in Inclusive/Special Education necessary

• Experience working with students with diverse needs

• Proficient in assistive technologies for instruction and support

• Alberta Teacher Certification eligibility required

• Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention preferred
