Position: Fort McMurray EAL Instructor for LINC Program
Become a vital part of Keyano College's LINC Program as an EAL Instructor, teaching the fundamentals of the English language to newcomers in Fort McMurray. This contract role values creativity and cultural sensitivity.

Keyano College is inviting applications for EAL Instructors for the upcoming  academic year. Your main responsibility will be to teach structured EAL classes, focusing on Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA). You will play an essential role in cultivating a love for learning while addressing the varying needs of a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging EAL sessions using PBLA methodologies

• Create and implement inclusive curriculum catering to all abilities

• Foster a multicultural classroom environment

• Provide targeted support for students facing literacy challenges

• Work alongside the Associate Dean to achieve educational objectives

Requirements:

• BA with TESL/TESOL Certification or Bed

• Demonstrated experience teaching EAL

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Familiarity with CLB and Task-Based Learning preferred

• Proficiency in online teaching tools is advantageous
