Grade 9 Teacher Composite

The role is probationary for one academic year, starting August 25, 2026, and requires a Bachelor of Education. Applicants should have experience in junior high teaching, capable of programming for diverse student needs and fostering an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individual Program Plans for students

• Monitor student behavior and apply appropriate interventions

• Build collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

• Engage in continuous professional growth and reflective practice

• Utilize technology effectively as an instructional tool

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and Alberta Teaching Certificate required

• Proven experience in junior high school settings

• Strong classroom management and organization skills

• Flexibility to adapt in various situations

• Ability to support diverse learners, including FNMI and EAL students
