École McTavish High School is hiring a Culinary Instructor for grades 7-12. Utilize your culinary expertise and classroom management to create an engaging educational experience in Alberta.

The successful candidate will possess both a Bachelor's Degree and a Bachelor of Education, along with the ability to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate. Teaching culinary arts, you will support diverse learning needs and ensure effective classroom dynamics. Strong organization and interpersonal skills are key for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach culinary arts and related subjects to middle and high school students

• Implement technology as a tool for instructional effectiveness

• Manage classroom dynamics and promote a positive learning environment

• Develop and support individualized student plans

• Participate actively in the school community

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and Bachelor of Education is essential

• Required Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Experience in culinary arts education is preferred

• Excellent classroom and organizational skills

• Criminal record/vulnerable sector check needed
