Library Services Student Assistant

Position: Library Services Student Assistant Role
Become a Student Assistant with Keyano College and support library operations from July 2, 2026, to August 30, 2026. This on-campus position in Fort McMurray focuses on assisting library users.

As a current Keyano College student, you’ll provide basic reference services, manage library cleanliness, and support the library team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to equity and inclusion are critical.

Your role will enhance both your academic and interpersonal skills during your tenure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic reference assistance to library users

• Assist with database navigation and resource management

• Search for missing items and reshelve materials

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in library spaces

• Represent the library at outreach events and team meetings

Requirements:

• Current Keyano College student with work eligibility

• Strong research and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with various software platforms

• User-centered disposition with excellent listening skills

• Ability to work varying shifts throughout the week
