Position: Inclusive Living Program Teacher for High School
Fort McMurray Catholic Schools is hiring for the Inclusive Living Program Teacher position at Holy Trinity Catholic High School. This role supports Grade 7-12 students with diverse needs and emphasizes life skills and communication.

As a specialized teacher for the  school year, you will focus on enhancing academic skills in literacy and numeracy. Differentiating instruction and promoting social interactions are crucial components of this position. You will also coordinate with educational assistants and external professionals to provide tailored support and successful programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support diverse learning needs in literacy and numeracy

• Coordinate community outings for life skills

• Promote peer communication and social skills

• Manage student behavior with co-regulation strategies

• Collaborate with staff and professionals for effective programming

Requirements:

• Experience in Special Education or related fields

• Certification in NVCI preferred or willingness to acquire

• Strong relationship skills and flexibility

• Eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification

• Proficiency in technology for communication support
