FMCSD is seeking an Educational Assistant to work with a multi-disciplinary team in various schools. This role involves supporting students in communication, cognitive, and physical development. You will work collaboratively with teachers and specialists, implementing strategies to meet diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students’ cognitive and physical growth
• Implement teacher-directed programming daily
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team consistently
• Use adaptive technologies to enhance learning
• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
Requirements:
• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma
• Experience with students with Autism or complex needs
• Ability to lift and physically assist students
• Observe and promote positive behavioural outcomes
• Fluency in computer applications, including MS Office
