Position: Full-Time Public Services Technician at Keyano College

Joining the Library Services Department, you will oversee public service activities, maintain collections, and guide student assistants. Your expertise in library databases and strong communication skills will foster a user-centered service environment. Collaborating with library team members, you will also promote services and manage essential library initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging bulletin boards and digital displays

• Monitor and train student assistants daily

• Provide knowledgeable customer service to patrons

• Facilitate interlibrary loans using World Share

• Maintain library collection and catalogue effectively

Requirements:

• Library Technician diploma or related two-year diploma

• Minimum 2 years of library experience preferred

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, and Canva

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
