Peer Tutor at Keyano College

Empower your peers as a Peer Tutor in Keyano College's Academic Success Centre. This role allows you to assist students academically while honing your own skills on campus.

Keyano College is recruiting a Peer Tutor for the August 2026 to December 2026 term. You will work up to 9 hours a week assisting students in a collaborative environment. This role requires strong communication and understanding of subjects like Business Administration, Computer Science, and Writing to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist students visiting the Academic Success Centre

• Conduct needs assessments and connect to appropriate resources

• Maintain schedule for tutor availability and workshops

• Support students with educational technology and digital resources

• Help students learn essential study skills and techniques

Requirements:

• Current Keyano College student with one semester completed

• B+ or higher in desired tutoring subjects

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and educational technology

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion values
