Fort McMurray Catholic Schools is hiring an Educational Assistant to provide support for Grades 1-6. You will work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized educational strategies that foster student growth. Key skills include positive communication and the ability to utilize adaptive technologies to support diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate student engagement and achieve learning outcomes

• Aid in implementing behavior management strategies

• Collaborate with educational teams for tailored programming

• Maintain documentation and safety checklists

• Support students with Autism or medical needs as necessary

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma required

• Must swim levels 1 and 2, 50 meters

• Capability to perform medical procedures if required

• Physical aptitude for lifting and handling students

• Follow all health and safety protocols directed by the supervisor
