Position: Educational Assistant at Our Lady of the Rivers
Be part of Fort McMurray Catholic Schools as an Educational Assistant for grades 1-6 at Our Lady of the Rivers. Engage students and foster their development through specialized teaching strategies and strong teamwork.

This full-time position requires an Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma, with a start date ASAP. You will work closely with teachers and specialists to implement strategies that promote effective learning and positive behavioral outcomes for diverse students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support student learning in cognitive and social skills

• Enact teacher-directed programming under supervision

• Maintain documentation related to safety and progress

• Provide supervision during indoor and outdoor activities

• Implement behavior management strategies effectively

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma mandatory

• SMG training may be required

• Ability to assist students with medical and emotional needs

• Capable of lifting and moving students as needed

• Criminal Reference and Vulnerable Sector Checks required
