Drive innovation at Canadian Natural as a Plant Operator at Albian Sands, Fort McMurray. Focus on safety and teamwork to achieve optimal production and environmental success.
In this key role, you will work alongside operators and maintenance staff to meet quality and operational targets. Your responsibilities include managing equipment reliability, issuing Safe Work Permits, and maintaining accurate documentation. Engaging with stakeholders, you’ll make significant contributions to the facility's success under the guidance of the Shift Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and optimize plant equipment for efficiency
• Coordinate Safe Work Permits in a hydrocarbon setting
• Address troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
• Record operational data and oversee compliance
• Execute training on operational procedures
Requirements:
• 5 years in an operational or tradesman role
• 4th Class Power Engineering Ticket is an asset
• Must possess a Class 5 Driver’s License
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces
• Motivated, self-directed with a continuous improvement focus
