Fort McMurray Electrical Engineer Contractor

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing EPC contractor deliverables and ensuring compliance with CSA/IEC standards. This role emphasizes collaboration with project teams and requires hands-on experience with power systems and site inspections. Your communication skills will be key in addressing field engineering queries and providing technical solutions for project challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve and review electrical engineering projects from contractors

• Ensure adherence to engineering practices and regulatory requirements

• Conduct site inspections and power system verifications

• Provide solutions to technical electrical issues

• Support all phases of construction and commissioning

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

• P.Eng. certification or eligibility in Alberta

• Minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering projects

• Proficient knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code

• Experience with ETAP, SKM, or similar software
