Co-op in Technology Solutions Engineering

Start your career with hands-on experience as a Technology Solutions Engineer Co-op at Finning, located in Fort McMurray, AB. Provide essential support for Caterpillar® technologies while traveling approximately 50% of the time.
In this role, you will report to the Technology Support Supervisor, assisting both the support team and customers. Your contributions will include managing projects, reporting on product issues, and supporting the creation of technical documentation. You will gain experience with innovative mining and construction technologies in this Co-op position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with technical support for Caterpillar® technology suite

• Track and manage Caterpillar® technology inventory

• Report serviceability issues and failure trends

• Support continuous improvement technical projects

• Resolve technical issues promptly to reduce downtime
Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point

• Education in Mining or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience with Mine Star or similar systems

• Familiarity with database management systems
