Operations Technician Pioneer

Position: Inter Pipeline Operations Technician Pioneer 1
Enhance your career as an Operations Technician at Inter Pipeline’s Pioneer 1 site. This role involves day-to-day operational support and efficient monitoring of plant equipment and assets.
You will report to the Offgas Operations Lead at Inter Pipeline as you handle operations in a team-oriented environment. The position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of processing units and requires you to ensure compliance with all procedures and guidelines. You will also provide training and coaching to junior team members while managing operational activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand processing units and equipment functions

• Perform routine operating procedures, include startups and shutdowns

• Monitor and record processes according to IPL standards

• Take decisive action in emergencies and plant shutdowns

• Assist in maintenance activities and equipment preparations
Requirements:

• 4th class power engineer's ticket required

• 3+ years in operations with control room experience

• Knowledge of H2S, WHMIS, and TDG is an asset

• Strong communication and MS Office skills beneficial

• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a rotating schedule
