Join Hatfield as a Hydrologist and support environmental initiatives in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Engage in hands-on fieldwork focused on hydrology and climate impact assessments.

In this Hydrologist role, you will provide both field and project management support, emphasizing the design and implementation of hydrology and climate monitoring programs in northern Alberta. You will collaborate with a diverse team to address challenges posed by climate change while ensuring rigorous scientific standards. This non-fly-in position allows for daily home returns post-fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize monitoring programs for hydrology

• Assess impacts on water resources

• Draft detailed technical reports

• Guide clients through environmental regulations

• Maintain compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

• BSc. in engineering or related field

• Minimum 2 years of hydrometric program experience

• Knowledge of monitoring instruments required

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Valid driver’s license and experience driving a truck
