As a Water Resources Technician at Hatfield, you will engage in both field and technical tasks related to hydrogeology and hydrology. This position represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant oil, gas, mining, and infrastructure projects. You will work with a collaborative team to ensure monitoring programs are effective and compliant with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess impacts of projects on water resources
• Lead and participate in monitoring and field investigation efforts
• Set up hydrometric stations for data collection
• Ensure equipment functionality and compliance
• Assist in data management and reporting efforts
Requirements:
• Degree or technical diploma related to environmental science
• Previous experience in surface and groundwater monitoring
• Skills in operating environmental monitoring equipment
• Clean Canadian driver’s license
• Willingness to undertake extensive field trips
