Position: Albian Oil Sands Mining Hydrogeologist Role
Contribute to the Albian Oil Sands Project as a Mining Hydrogeologist with Canadian Natural in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Your focus will involve hydrogeological monitoring and field assessments.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. As a Mining Hydrogeologist, you will conduct fieldwork including groundwater sampling and supervision of drilling operations. You will also play a critical role in analyzing data and coordinating contractor activities while maintaining communication with various engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in groundwater/surface water sampling in the field

• Oversee the drilling of monitoring wells

• Manage contractors and project timelines

• Analyze hydrogeological data for reporting

• Design effective monitoring strategies for projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Geology or related field

• Over 5 years in hydrogeological roles

• APEGA registration eligibility as P.Geo. or P.Eng.

• Familiarity with hydrogeological software preferred

• Valid class 5 driver’s license with good record
