Position: Suncor Hydrologist & Water Engineer
Enhance environmental performance as a Hydrologist us on innovative water management solutions for superior mining operations while conducting vital hydrological assessments.
This role encompasses leading water management strategies, conducting hydrological studies, and providing technical expertise on water-related projects. As part of our team, you will assess data and collaborate on surface water initiatives critical for operational success and ecological responsibility. Your contribution will significantly influence water quality management and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning for water management studies and investigations

• Review engineering designs for water infrastructure

• Analyze and present findings in technical reports

• Identify risks and collaborate on water-related projects

• Innovate modelling practices and adopt new technologies
Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in oil sands operations

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• P.Eng. designation mandatory

• Background in hydrology and hydraulic modelling required

• Experience with environmental assessments essential
