Position: Field-Based Mechanical Inspector Role
Elevate your career as a Mechanical Inspector with Canadian Natural in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Focus on electric rope shovel systems to drive reliability improvements within a safety-sensitive role.
You will perform mechanical inspections, execute failure analysis, and create reliability reports while adhering to Alberta's safety standards. Your field-based position will comprise around 80% work outdoors, allowing for hands-on troubleshooting while also supporting office tasks like data analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical inspections to identify performance issues

Requirements:

• 10+ years as a Heavy Equipment Technician or Millwright

• Familiarity with large-scale mining equipment, specifically Caterpillar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated with a proactive improvement mindset

• Ability to effectively communicate technical information
