McMurray Structural Engineer Contractor

Position: Ft. McMurray Structural Engineer Contractor
Become part of Roska DBO Inc. as a contracted Structural Engineer in Ft. McMurray, following a 4/3 work schedule with flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary. Support operational excellence through structural assessments.
This role focuses on implementing a structural inspection program tailored for brown field facilities. You will need at least 5 years of experience in operational contexts, engaging with multiple teams to address engineering demands and monitoring projects that might impact structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop programs for inspecting various structural elements

• Evaluate conveyor systems, pipe racks, and overhead cranes

• Coordinate with Business Unit Teams for engineering needs

• Keep project teams informed on structural condition

• Adopt cost-effective risk mitigation strategies
Requirements:

• Engineering Degree, Civil/Structural is preferred

• Professional Engineer designation with APEGA required

• Minimum of 5 years in oil and gas facilities

• Familiar with Alberta OH&S and WCB standards

• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
