Contribute to vital underground services with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo as a Utility Operations Planner II. This role emphasizes advanced planning, asset management, and Underground Services support in Fort McMurray. In this temporary full‑time position, you will oversee preventative maintenance and asset management for water, wastewater, and storm systems.
With a focus on complex projects, your technical knowledge will guide teams in optimizing operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You’ll play a crucial role in managing programs and mentoring staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and oversee asset management programs
- Utilize CMMS and EAM for maintenance planning
- Coordinate contractor services and project delivery
- Analyze maintenance data for program optimization
- Prepare detailed reports on operational performance
- Technical Diploma in a related field
- Five years of relevant experience
- Certified Engineering Technologist or Technician
- AEPA Water/Wastewater certifications
- Valid Class Five Operator’s Licence
