Suncor is hiring a Power Engineer who can contribute with at least two years of experience and a minimum 3rd class power engineering certificate. You will be accountable for operating equipment safely, adhering to established safety protocols, and efficiently managing maintenance activities in a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment efficiently and safely according to guidelines

• Train on multiple roles and responsibilities as needed

• Perform operator routines and manage work notifications

• Execute start-up and shutdown of equipment for maintenance

• Adjust process variables for operational excellence

Requirements:

• At least two years of Power Engineering experience

• Mandatory 3rd class power engineering certificate

• Familiarity with Alberta Safety Code and ASME Codes

• Qualifications in potable water or domestic wastewater are a plus

• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
