Suncor is looking for a qualified Hydrologist to support water management in mining at our Syncrude Mildred Lake site or Calgary head office. This role demands at least 7 years of industry experience and proficiency in surface water design, modeling, and environmental assessments. Your contributions will be vital for promoting efficient mining operations and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide water management expertise for mining operations

• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling projects

• Prepare comprehensive engineering designs and reports

• Manage data collection and analysis for water quality

• Engage with teams to address water resource challenges
Requirements:

• 7 years of experience with oil sands mining

• Bachelor’s in Environmental or Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required

• Expertise in surface water assessments and designs

• Demonstrated skills in data interpretation for decision-making
