Lead Electrical Engineer COOEC

Position: Lead Electrical Engineer for COOEC
Join COOEC as the Lead Electrical Engineer in Fort McMurray, Alberta, focusing on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Drive the success of crucial commissioning and start-up projects.
In this lead role, you will coordinate with various teams to ensure that all aspects of electrical and instrumentation work are executed to high standards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring subcontractor activities and managing quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. You will also engage in safety reviews and ensure regulatory compliance at the job site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise subcontractors on site for quality and safety

• Oversee Electrical and Instrumentation work scope compliance

• Lead vendor coordination during critical equipment testing

• Ensure timely submission of turnover documentation

• Engage in regular audits to enhance performance
Requirements:

• 10-15 years of O&G construction experience

• Journeyman Electrician or Red Seal certification

• Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities

• Strong ability to meet stringent deadlines

• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
