Industrial Control Systems Technologist

Cenovus is seeking an experienced Industrial Control Systems Technologist for Level 1 support at our Oil Sands Operations. This key role is essential in maintaining system health across multiple sites.

Your responsibilities will encompass preventative maintenance of industrial control systems, including DCS, PLC, and related technologies. As a full-time employee at Cenovus, you will work in a rotation that enables a work-life balance. Collaborating with various teams, you will ensure high system availability and effective documentation for repeatable tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite monitoring for industrial control systems

• Execute break-fix tasks on critical control hardware

• Develop and maintain an installed inventory database

• Ensure collaboration on new projects and safety initiatives

• Engage in emergency response and recovery efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years in relevant Engineering roles

• Proven expertise in Delta V and Rockwell technologies

• Familiarity with SAP or Service-Now systems

• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record

• Successful completion of pre-employment assessments
