CAS Technology Specialist

Become a part of Canadian Natural's operations as a CAS Technology Specialist at the Horizon Oil Sands site in Fort McMurray. This role involves monitoring systems, supporting operations, and implementing new technologies in a safety-sensitive environment.

The CAS Technology Specialist is integral to mine operations, providing technical support and coordinating installations. This role emphasizes collaboration, utilizing communication and network skills within a dynamic team environment. Candidates should be prepared for a shift schedule of 7x7, working both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Dispatch and Mine Operations with monitoring

• Coordinate installation of new CAS kits and manage inventory

• Apply Management of Change processes and track KPIs

• Participate in incident investigations using fleet data

• Troubleshoot communication systems and hardware installations

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Telecommunication, Electrical, or IT

• Knowledge of surface mining operations and telecom

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and network tools

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Positive attitude towards solving technical challenges
