Our branch is looking for a yard worker to maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is Monday to Friday.

• Loading and unloading of rental equipment
• Status verification of equipment on the yard
• Stage equipment for delivery
• Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
• Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment
• Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
• Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
• Equipment quality inspections
• Maintain organization on the yard
• Ability to deal with customers as required
• Other duties as assigned

• Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills
• Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Capable of driving equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard
• Construction related experience

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• A recent abstract will be required
• Previous experience repairing small tools considered an asset
• Previous experience in warehouse or general labour considered an asset
