Fort McMurray Heavy Equipment Maintenance Leader

In this full-time role, you'll manage maintenance operations for heavy equipment across demanding oil sands and industrial sites. Your responsibilities include leading safety compliance, developing maintenance schedules, and prioritizing repairs. This position is integral to enhancing asset reliability and building best-in-class maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety compliance in all maintenance operations

• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

• Optimize equipment performance and reliability

• Manage annual maintenance budgets and expenses

• Mentor staff and promote a continuous improvement culture

Requirements:

• Journeyperson certification in Heavy Equipment or related field

• 10+ years of maintenance experience in relevant sectors

• 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

• Expert knowledge of Caterpillar and Komatsu systems

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1 preferred
