Lead Hand Mine Shovel Operations

Become Bouchier's Lead Hand for Mine Shovel Operations at CNRL Horizon. This full-time role involves both supervision and hands-on maintenance in a 14 on/14 off schedule.

As a Working Lead Hand, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that all safety and performance audits are met. Your responsibilities will focus on the maintenance and cleanliness of mining shovels while collaborating with equipment and laborers on-site. This fast-paced environment demands strong leadership and safety knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage shift operations and worker assignments

• Conduct safety briefings and hazard assessments

• Ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards

• Operate and maintain site equipment effectively

• Record safety and performance data regularly

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 with Air Brakes Driver's License

• Clean 5-year Driver Abstract within 30 days

• CSO and WHMIS 2015 certifications needed

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more

• Adaptable to changing environmental conditions
