Experienced Service Writer at Birch Mountain

Birch Mountain Enterprises is urgently hiring an experienced Service Writer for their Fort McKay location. This role supports maintenance operations through scheduling, order management, and communication daily.

As a Service Writer, you will coordinate shop activities under minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality maintenance service. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. You will streamline processes to meet both internal and external customer needs, contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop

• Ensure effective scheduling of repairs and maintenance

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and costs

• Train technicians in the work order system

• Generate reports on equipment downtime for management

Requirements:

• 3-5 years as a Service Writer or similar role

• Strong knowledge of Heavy-Duty Mechanical work

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance software

• Minimum class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract

• OSSA and CSTS Certification
