In this role, you'll oversee wastewater operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations while guiding your team. Your analytical skills will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department, reinforcing operational strategies aligned with best practices. This is a critical position for maintaining environmental standards and public safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise team in wastewater treatment operations
• Assist in developing and training departmental staff
• Create and manage reports for environmental compliance
• Liaise with local government on regulatory changes
• Ensure wastewater plants meet operational standards
Requirements:
• Seven years working in municipal wastewater
• Three years in a supervisory role
• Diploma in Environmental Science or equivalent required
• Wastewater Treatment Level III certification needed
• Class 5 Operator's Licence essential
Your leadership will be central to ensuring compliance and environmental safety standards in wastewater operations.
