Plant Operations

Position: Plant Operations Role
Become a Plant Operator with Canadian Natural at the Albian Sands Site, where you will ensure production meets environmental and quality standards. Participate in a rotating 12-hour shift schedule to support plant operations in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant. This includes monitoring equipment, responding to issues, and preparing for maintenance activities. Your strong aptitude for troubleshooting will play a crucial role in managing process upsets and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety and environmental protocols during operation

• Proactively monitor equipment and perform plant rounds

• Prepare equipment for maintenance using Lock Out Tag Out

• Issue necessary Safe Work Permits on site

• Adjust processes during operational discrepancies

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required for entry

• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Mechanical skill set for operational tasks

• Strong capacity for troubleshooting under pressure

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
