Field Services Machinist

Position: Field Services Machinist at Komatsu
Become a key member of Komatsu's Field Services team in Fort McMurray, Alberta as a Journeyperson Machinist. This onsite role focuses on high-quality CNC machining and support.

In this role, you will need a Journeyperson Machinist Certification and over 5 years of CNC experience. You will confidently read blueprints, set up machines, and maintain precise operations to keep production running smoothly. Your attention to detail and organization will be vital as you work on prototypes and custom builds in a busy shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine parts using various machining tools

• Set up and adjust CNC equipment efficiently

• Inspect work and ensure adherence to specifications

• Maintain tools and workspace in excellent condition

• Collaborate on builds from layout to assembly

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Machinist Certification (Red Seal ideally)

• More than 5 years of CNC experience required

• Valid class 5 driver's license for site access

• Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

• Comfortable in a challenging shop environment
