CEDA is seeking dedicated Dredge Operators for a 12-month contract at Kearl Lake. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and previous experience with dredging or dewatering. This position involves operating and maintaining various equipment, ensuring workplace safety, and collaborating closely with other operators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain dredging and deposition equipment
• Participate in safety and tool box meetings regularly
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas
• Assist with basic repairs and construction tasks as needed
• Manage operational areas, including tank farms and screen tanks
Requirements:
• Previous dredging or pumping experience required
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean record
• CSO certification or relevant combinations of safety courses
• Ability to work in confined spaces with appropriate equipment
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
