As a Registered Nurse (RN) within the Alberta Kidney Care - North program, you'll focus on comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic renal issues. This part-time position emphasizes leadership, critical thinking, and clinical judgment while adhering to nursing standards and policies. With a focus on health promotion and patient education, you’ll make an impactful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Hemodialysis treatments and monitor patient status

• Collaborate with the health care team on patient care plans

• Provide education and advocacy for patients and families

• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in care

• Lead unit operations and support team members

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing program completion

• Active registration with the CRNA

• Current BCLS-HCP certification

• Charge nurse experience

• Must lift up to 40 lbs. and complete mandatory training
