Position: Registered Nurse for Hemodialysis Care
Elevate patient care as a Registered Nurse at Alberta Kidney Care – North, delivering essential hemodialysis treatment in a supportive team environment. Focus on holistic nursing practices to promote patient health and well-being.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for both acute and chronic renal patients. Your responsibilities will encompass clinical assessments, care planning, teaching, and advocacy for patients and their families, all while adhering to the standards set forth by the regulatory body. Your leadership will enhance integrated patient care and health promotion initiatives throughout your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hemodialysis treatment to patients effectively

• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Conduct patient assessments and create care plans

• Advocate and educate patients and families

• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing education program completion

• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider certification

• 1-2 years of Med-Surgical Nursing experience preferred

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and attend Hemodialysis training
