Position: Forest View Weekend Nights Psych RN Role
Take on an essential role at Forest View Hospital as a Psych RN during weekend nights, providing care to patients in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Engage with individuals experiencing various psychiatric issues.

This part-time position features 12-hour shifts, focusing on treatment for both adolescents and adults. The Psych RN will create and implement nursing care plans while fostering a therapeutic atmosphere. Strong skills in behavioral management and psychiatric nursing are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement initial treatment plans for patients

• Support new RNs with guidance and training

• Lead crisis management efforts effectively

• Engage in maintaining a therapeutic milieu

• Assist with planning for patient discharge

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing institution

• 6-12 months psychiatric nursing experience preferred

• Current Michigan RN license required

• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory

• CPR/Handle With Care certification preferred
