In this role, you will collaborate within a dynamic Public Health Nursing team, guiding advocacy and health education programs. You will be responsible for immunization delivery, disease prevention, and comprehensive assessments. Your leadership will address social health determinants, ensuring equality in service provision while maintaining rigorous documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and enhance health promotion initiatives
• Lead the planning and delivery of health programs
• Conduct preventive screenings and health assessments
• Engage with community and interdisciplinary partners
• Maintain high documentation standards according to nursing conventions
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• 3 years of recent public health nursing experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Access to a vehicle and valid Driver’s License
