Join AHS as a Registered Nurse working in our Operating Room and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Leverage your perioperative skills to deliver exceptional patient care in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

In the dual role of operating room and post-anesthesia nurse, you will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team. You will provide leading patient-centered care by employing nursing processes while ensuring adherence to CRNA and ORNAC standards. Utilize your leadership capabilities to support health promotion and patient safety, making a significant impact on the lives of Albertans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care as part of an interdisciplinary team

• Monitor and advocate for patients in both the operating room and recovery unit

• Apply nursing processes to assess, diagnose, and implement care plans

• Teach and counsel patients and families on health maintenance

• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing education program completion

• Active or eligible CRNA registration

• Current BCLS-HCP certification

• Previous OR experience preferred

• Completion of a recognized Perioperative Certification program
