Position: Safety Advisor for Fort Hills Project
Join NACG as a Safety Advisor at the Fort Hills project, where promoting a proactive safety culture is essential. This position features a 14x14 work shift with camp accommodations and transportation supplied by clients.

In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding project leadership teams in their safety practices and behaviors while further developing an existing strong safety culture. Your expertise will aid in overseeing the implementation of health, safety, and environment plans while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations to enhance safety performance at the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate coaching relationships with site leaders

• Guide HS&E plans and assist in performance evaluation

• Provide safety training for site staff

• Conduct thorough safety audits and recommend changes

• Monitor site conditions to identify and mitigate risks

Requirements:

• At least three years in health and safety management

• Credential in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of safety legislation in Canada

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools
