HSE Lead Position

Advance safety in Fort McMurray, AB, as an HSE Lead with Barnhart Canada. This key role involves implementing safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.

Barnhart Canada seeks an experienced HSE Lead for its operations in Fort McMurray. You will manage incidents, develop training programs, and support safety standards in collaboration with clients. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in health and safety, particularly in construction, oil sands, or mining sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support safety programs and policies

• Manage incident reporting and response appropriately

• Develop and enhance training programs for staff

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client safety requirements

• Collaborate with teams to promote a safety-focused culture

Requirements:

• NCSO, CRSP, CSP or equivalent safety designation

• Minimum 5 years of experience in related industries

• Degree or certificate in occupational safety preferred

• Experience developing training programs is preferred

• Ability to access oil sands sites in Fort Mc Murray
