Quality Inspector

Description

As an experienced Quality Inspector, you will oversee and coordinate all activities related to Inspections, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control on a fast‑paced Industrial Project site. Your responsibilities will include managing documents and procedures, ensuring adherence to quality processes, and supporting the Project QA/QC Manager in implementing and maintaining robust quality standards.

You are a problem solver with a strong drive for continuous improvement, always seeking innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes. With your expertise and attention to detail, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality on‑site.

• Coordinate and walkdown piping system for turnover
• Coordinate inspections and provide status update
• Perform welding visual inspections of pressure piping and structural installations
• Coordinate hydro test tracking and coordination
• Coordinate Welding NDE tracking program and data entry
• Coordinate PWHT to code specifications, evaluate charts
• Identify process improvements

• CWB Level II Certified Welding Inspector
• Minimum 4 yrs + related experience.
• Proven ability to manage quality procedures and processes
• Ability to perform inspections to comply with approved ITP’s and code requirements
• Ability to interpret CSA W59, ASME B31.3 & B31.1 Codes
• Able to interpret ASME weld procedures, know differences for welding carbon, stainless, chrome steels
• Familiar with welding processes SMAW, GTAW
