Piping Quality Assurance Inspector in Alberta

Become a Piping Quality Assurance Inspector at Rotaflow in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role focuses on maintaining quality standards and compliance across mechanical systems in the energy sector.

As an essential team member, your on-site inspection knowledge will support Rotaflow’s mission in fire protection systems and utilities. Candidates should possess a strong background in QA/QC processes, with a preference given to those with Suncor or Syncrude inspection experience. Your responsibilities will include inspecting materials, ensuring compliance with welding standards, and providing feedback on quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee QA/QC management system implementation

• Execute routine inspections of piping components

• Review and manage welding specifications and accuracy

• Coordinate inspections with subcontractors and vendors

• Document and resolve quality-related discrepancies

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or Engineering Technologist qualification

• Minimum five years on QC for piping fabrication

• ABSA certification and local residency in Fort Mc Murray

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
