Quality Control Inspector Kearl Oil Sands

Join OCL Group Inc. as a Quality Control Inspector at the Kearl Oil Sands project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This camp-based position offers a 14/14 rotation and focuses on electrical and instrumentation quality.

We are looking for experienced E&I professionals who excel in quality control and turnover management. Candidates must have a Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation Technician certification. This role is critical for ensuring compliance and facilitating smooth project handover through meticulous documentation and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee E&I quality control inspections at the Kearl Oil Sands

• Finalize E&I turnover binders for major project completion

• Ensure compliance with E&I codes and standards

• Manage ITR documentation and system handover processes

• Collaborate with project teams to guarantee quality assurance

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation Technician certification

• Proven experience in E&I turnover management

• Strong knowledge of oil and gas infrastructure

• Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Revu

• Willing to complete safety training and pass background checks
